Overview
Reporting to the SVP, Learning & Consulting Solutions, the Bilingual Senior Learning Consultant is responsible for ensuring consistent high quality, timely delivery of relevant learning solutions to clients.
How You'll Make An Impact
Conduct preliminary needs analysis activities including one-on-one interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders within client organizations
Synthesize key themes from needs analysis and create a summary of findings
Translate client needs into specific training performance objectives and instructional design outline
Review summary of findings from needs analysis and instructional design outline with clients and gain their approval
Develop leadership and sales learning solutions for various learning modalities including face to face instructor-led, virtual instructor led and digital
Design and develop components to motivate learning transfer on the job such as job aids, on-the-job assignments, tools and templates
Evaluate training effectiveness by designing survey instruments, analyzing data and reporting conclusions
Research best practices within specified subject matter areas (i.e., selling skills, negotiation, leadership, change, etc.), on an ongoing basis
Formulate advanced and innovative approaches to learning and transfer methods
About You
Bilingual in French and English
Post-secondary degree/diploma preferred
Certificate in Adult Education and/or a Certified Training & Development Professional designation (CTDP)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Instructional Design, grounded in adult learning principles, acquired through formal education and practical experience
Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders to lead and manage sophisticated learning and development projects
Excellent writing skills, with strong attention to detail to ensure all training materials are developed with consistency and high quality
Superior analytical skills, with a keen ability to synthesize data to identify key patterns and themes that uncover relevant client skill-development needs
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, enabling the ability to build rapid confidence and credibility during client interactions
Strong eye for business to enable the development of grounded learning solutions and the ability to conduct relevant and credible client conversations with senior management and c-level.
Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc
Other Desirable Skills/Abilities:
3+ years of experience in sales and/or leadership role
3+ years consulting and facilitation experience
Certified coach with the ICF
