À propos de cet événement

AI is a catalyst for change, offering new possibilities for teaching and learning while simultaneously emphasizing different student competencies. As AI transforms our society, teaching and assessment practices must adjust to the evolving needs of young people. What types of learning experiences will be most relevant? And how do we embrace new ways of educating young people?

In this panel discussion, leading researchers and education professionals will discuss how we can prepare and support educators to integrate AI into their teaching practice while creating the types of learning experiences that develop the transferable skills students will need.

The panelists:

  • Joelle Rodway – Associate Professor, Ontario Tech and founder and director of the NET Lab: Networks for Educational Transformation.
  • Mohammed Estaiteyeh – Assistant Professor of Digital Pedagogies and Technology Literacies in the Faculty of Education at Brock University
  • Sarah Rankin – Centre of Excellence – Digital Innovation Lead, New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
  • Caroline Roberts – Associate Superintendent of Learning at Foothills School Division
