**Hours: M-F Days**

**Salary: $60,000-$80,000 Yearly**

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of SA Hosted and Technical Services, the Training and Development Specialist will serve as the primary architect for departmental knowledge. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between complex technical operations and team execution by designing, managing, and delivering comprehensive training ecosystems and standardizeddocumentation. This role is key in identifying content and training opportunities that drive efficiency, improve process clarity, and enhance skillsets within the department.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions

 Design and facilitate high-impact technical and business-focused training programs that ensure the Technical Services team is proficient in all platforms and internal solutions.

 Facilitate the end-to-end creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation to ensure a single, accurate source of truth for the

department.

 Gather and analyze data related to training effectiveness, skills gaps, and business training requirements to propose and implement enhancements and solutions.

 Manage the full lifecycle of technical documentation, ensuring all materials remain current with evolving software updates, security protocols, and business requirements.

 Establish documentation standards that improve process clarity and reduce "tribal knowledge," directly enhancing the overall quality and scalability of technical service

delivery.

Qualifications

**Communication and Interpersonal Skills:**

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable content.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

**Content Development and Analysis:**

  • Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of effective technical and non-technical training.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify content/training needs, and drive decisions.
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate documentation.

**Other Qualities:**

  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing work conditions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Google Workspace and the MS Office suite of tools. Training
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of related experience in training, content development, technical writing, or a similar role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
