**Introduction to Role:**

Reporting to the Director, Content Excellence in GBS, this role focuses on  This role leads the **training, adoption, and scaling of AI capabilities** across GBS Content & Omnichannel Services. The focus is on enabling teams across regions and roles to confidently and responsibly use AI to improve content quality, speed, compliance, and business outcomes across AstraZeneca’s content supply chain.

Accountabilities
  • ### Lead AI training and adoption
  • Design and deliver **engaging, hands-on, role-based AI training** for in-market teams, nearshore creative studios, and offshore content producers.
  • Create **clear enablement assets** and **pilot-to-scale playbooks** that support sustained adoption of GenAI and relevant AI applications across GBS processes and roles.
  • Plan and complete adoption programs with **defined scope, timelines, risks, and change plans**, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning styles and team needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to surface and resolve issues, progress decisions, and remove barriers to adoption, raising with management support when needed.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend **AI applications and models** for key use cases such as generative content creation, component management, automated tagging, translation, MLR-ready content support, and performance analytics.
  • Monitor emerging trends in generative AI, modular content, and compliance-by-design solutions, translating innovation into **secure, responsible, and scalable tools**.
  • Support AstraZeneca’s content supply chain transformation by balancing **innovation, usability, and regulatory standards**.
  • ### Operationalize standards and governance
  • Partner with GBS content delivery leaders to implement **content excellence standards**, including design systems, metadata taxonomy, prompting guidance, and AI governance.
  • Ensure AI-enabled workflows are **consistent, compliant, scalable, and inclusive** across teams and markets.
  • Translate sophisticated AI concepts into **clear, accessible value narratives** for diverse audiences.
  • Build cases, recommend priorities, and support leadership decision-making around sequencing, scale-up, and investment.
  • Build AI opportunities for leadership
Measure impact and guide decisions
  • Define, track, and communicate **AI adoption and impact metrics**, including cycle time reduction, cost per asset, compliance-ready output (“right first time”), metadata completeness, usage, and downstream business outcomes.
  • Provide **clear, decision-ready insights** that advise investment, prioritization, and scaling decisions.

**Essential Skills/Experience:**

  • 8+ years of experience in pharma, life sciences, healthcare, or technology, with demonstrated experience in AI implementation, digital transformation, or technology adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency across the content supply chain, including use-case design, tool or vendor evaluation, implementation, training, and measurement.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence across functions such as medical, marketing, legal/compliance, IT, and agency partners.
  • Clear, inclusive communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in straightforward, practical terms.
  • Experience supporting change and adoption, including training, enablement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, and manage multiple initiatives, with appropriate support and alignment.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 0.00 to 0.00.

Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.  In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
