THE OPPORTUNITY
**We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Leadership and Talent Development, to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver office.**
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Senior Manager, Leadership and Talent Development, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of programs that strengthen leadership capacity and build organizational bench strength. You will play a key role in shaping a high-performance culture by aligning leadership and talent development initiatives with business priorities.
This role requires a strategic thinker and hands on practitioner who can translate organizational needs into practical development solutions, strengthen succession pipelines, and elevate leadership effectiveness across the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Leadership and Management Development Programs**
- Design and implement leadership and management development programs aligned with business objectives
- Assess leadership capability gaps and develop targeted development solutions
- Partner with senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness across the organization
**Talent Development Strategy**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with short and long term organizational goals
- Partner with stakeholders to assess current and future talent needs
- Ensure development initiative support workforce planning and organizational growth
**Learning Initiatives**
- Lead the design and delivery of impactful learning solutions for team members at all levels
- Leverage diverse learning modalities (in-person, virtual, experiential, digital) to enhance engagement and effectiveness
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure programs reflect industry best practices
**Performance and Engagement**
- Enhance performance management processes to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals
- Provide guidance to leaders on goal setting, feedback, and development planning
- Support initiative that strengthen team member engagement and professional growth
**Coaching and Mentorship**
- Oversee mentorship and coaching initiatives to support leadership and career growth
- Equip leaders with coaching capabilities to support their teams effectively
**COMPETENCIES**
- *Advising and Coaching –* Assess stakeholder needs and provide practical guidance that supports performance and growth
- *Assessment and Insight –* Evaluate talent, programs, and processes to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities
- *Change Leadership –* Guide individuals and teams through change with clarity and sustained impact
- *Experience Design –* Create meaningful development experiences and translate them into scalable programs
- *Project Management –* Lead initiatives form planning through execution while balancing scope, timelines, and resources
- *Systems and Digital Fluency –* Effectively leverage learning platforms and HR systems
- *Facilitation and Communication –* Deliver engaging learning experiences and communicate with clarity and influence
**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in leadership and talent development
- Post-secondary education in Leadership, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing leadership and talent programs
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and organizational development practices
- Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
- Experience leveraging learning technologies and platforms
- Relevant certifications (e.g., coaching, facilitation, OD) are considered an asset
WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive and equitable total rewards package, including mentorship programs and meaningful professional development to support your continued growth. The expected salary range for this role $140,000 – $150,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance based bonus.
