As the Technical Lead on vehicle glass repair and replacement, he/she will be responsible for mastering the Belron Way of Fitting and Belron Way of Repairing procedures, while understanding our current capabilities (equipment and required skills) and future needs to successfully carry out all glass replacements and repairs.

  • He/She will be responsible for supervising, developing, and improving the technical skills of trainers in glass replacement and repair, as well as training delivery. This person will work closely with the National Process Manager – Technical, Safety & Excellence to build training programs focused on procedures and equipment.
  • The Technical Lead on vehicle glass repair and replacement will act as a first line contact with technical trainers to help resolve vehicle glass repair and replacement-related issues.
  • He/She will work closely with technical trainers to implement actions related to health and safety incidents.
  • He/She will work on the creation of training programs and their implementation linked with the deployment of new tools and equipment as well as new procedures.
  • He/She will also be responsible for working on various special projects, including the technical component of the Best of Belron competition and the development of the Canadian finalist for the international competition.
Requirements
  • 6 to 12 years of experience in a relevant technical or operational role
  • Bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written
  • Strong leadership, training, and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and autonomy
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Adaptability to technological changes
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn in the field of technology
  • Strong ability to document and simplify processes
