Title: Talent Management Specialist

Reports To: Manager Talent Management

Hybrid position - Barrie Ontario

Job Purpose

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, development, and execution of corporate talent management strategies that strengthen organizational capability, engagement, and leadership effectiveness. This role focuses on learning and development, performance management, talent planning, and Associate engagement initiatives, with a strong emphasis on content creation and program delivery for enterprise-level HR and leadership initiatives. Ensuring all talent management programs are strategically aligned with business objectives, goals, and driving organizational capability.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Collaboration

Manage and support enterprise-wide Talent programs, leadership academies, and onboarding enhancements.

Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to align talent programs with strategic objectives.

Develop and manage communication plans, visual materials, and content to ensure successful program rollouts.

Analyze program performance data to identify trends, areas of opportunity, and training needs.

Ensure internal systems effectively identify and support talent readiness to safeguard organizational continuity and growth.

Talent Development & Learning

Partner with HR and business leaders to assess learning needs and design development programs that build leadership and professional capabilities.

Create engaging training materials, toolkits, presentations, and resources to support initiatives and HR Business Partner (HRBP) Train-the-Trainer program rollouts.

Develop and maintain learning content for leadership and functional development programs, ensuring consistency with Company values and talent strategy.

Facilitate or co-facilitate workshops, webinars, and learning sessions to enhance leadership and Associate effectiveness.

Technology & Data

Leverage HR technologies and digital tools to design, implement, and optimize talent management programs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Apply technology solutions to enhance program delivery, streamline processes, and improve data-driven decision-making across talent management

Remain current with emerging HR technologies and integrate innovative solutions to strengthen learning, performance, and engagement programs.

Design and maintain a Talent Management dashboard to track, analyze, and report on key program metrics, providing actionable insights for HR and leadership teams

Associate Engagement

Coordinate corporate engagement surveys, analyze results, and develop actionable corporate insights.

Develop and deliver communication strategies that promote corporate values, highlight growth opportunities, and reinforce a culture of performance and future readiness.

Oversee corporate engagement survey initiatives to measure organizational health and inform talent strategies.

Performance Management

Lead the execution of performance management processes that drive alignment between individual contributions and business objectives.

Deliver comprehensive program assets and guidance to empower leaders and associates during all phases of the performance life cycle.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning and Development, in a corporate HR environment.

Experience in content creation, and HR program rollout required.
